Who we are
ReelBaaz is operated by Ayush Yaduvanshi, J3 Apna Ghar, Shalimar, Tijara Road, Alwar, Rajasthan 301001 ("ReelBaaz", "we"). We are the data fiduciary for the personal data described here under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect

We use two cookies: one that remembers your language choice and one that remembers a referral code for 30 days. Firebase sign-in also keeps your session in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.
Instagram and Meta data
When you connect an Instagram Business or Creator account to ReelBaaz (where available), Meta asks you which permissions to grant. With your permission we may access your account's basic profile, media and their insights, publish content you schedule, and read comments and send messages for automations you set up. We use this data only to provide those features to you.
- We never ask for your Instagram password.
- We do not sell Instagram or Meta data, or use it for advertising.
- We do not share it with anyone except the processors listed below, who handle it on our behalf.
- You can disconnect at any time from Settings or from Instagram's "Apps and websites" page. When you disconnect or delete your account, we delete the access token and the data we received through it (see Data deletion).
How we use it
- To run the product: write scripts in your style, find ideas, plan your calendar, track how your posts did, and create media kits and pitches.
- To send the notifications you turned on, on WhatsApp or by email.
- To keep the service safe: limits, abuse prevention, debugging errors.
- To improve the product. When you rate a script with 👍 or 👎, that feedback shapes your future scripts.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your scripts or reels to train AI models for other people.
Who processes it
These companies process data for us, only to provide ReelBaaz:

Some of these providers store data outside India. They are bound by contract to protect it.
What stays on your device
- Videos you record in the app stay on your phone. We never upload them.
- Photos and logos you add to carousels stay in your browser's storage.
- When you upload a video to remix, only a short audio clip is extracted in your browser and sent for speech-to-text; the video is not uploaded.
How long we keep it
- Account data, scripts and your Content Brain: until you delete them or your account.
- Public reel data we cached: up to 90 days after it was last used.
- Daily usage counters: 90 days.
- Contact and deletion requests: 1 year, to show we handled them.
- Payment records: as long as Indian tax law requires (Razorpay keeps these too).
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- See and edit your data in the app (Content Brain, Library, Settings).
- Withdraw consent: turn off notifications, disconnect Instagram, or stop using the service.
- Delete everything: Settings → Delete account, or follow these steps.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.
- Complain to our Grievance Officer, and then to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our cloud providers. Only you can read your own records; our servers check your sign-in on every request. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
Children
ReelBaaz is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has signed up, write to us and we will delete the account.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
